Swivel

I don't understand swivel at all. i don't see how it can help us in work or class. Maybe it is just me but that is just fine.B-)

Thinkature.com

I find Thinature.com is a very useful site. You can make concept maps that is quick, simple and easy. It doesn't take that long and you don't have to be good with computers to to use and understand it. It is fun and easy.B-)

Google docs

A pretty cool thing that comes with gmail is google docs. Google doc is like a email version of microsoft office. You can do a document of a power point or even a spreed sheet. Being hooked to to email makes this really easy to send and share documents for school and work. It makes it easy to get a second oppinion on a paper even cross country. This is a really helpful tool. B-)

Half way done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have made i through half of the 21 things and I'm still alive! Before i can continue celebrating i must first talk about the 2.0 awards and my favorite one of them all. Of all the winners and runner-ups i liked hair mixer. It is fun to see what other people look like and what you would look like and it is all with a click of a mouse. It is convenient and fun.

The Library

I the La Conner library home page is very useful and help. There are tons of links to sites we use in classes and what i never knew before was that you can search to see if the library and if they don't you can request the book or auther you are lookinf for. What i think would be really help full was a list of assignments for classes and when they are due. Im pretty sure this will never happen, the tech. guys are swamped as it is but it is just an idea.

WIKI

Wiki is an interesting site. You are able to (in groups) create content online. Multiple peoples are able to look at the content and edit it and then it is able to be viewed online. I don't think i will ever use it but i guess it might be helpful for teacher or a group presentation. B-)

Del.icio.us:-P

I love Del.icio.us. It is a social bookmarking site. In short it is a site where you save all of your bookmarked sites and you can get to them from any computer B-)(that has internet). It is really easy to save your site and then to get to them again. It really helps out all of us not so tech savvy people.

RSS Feeds

I find RSS feeds really helpful. Instead of going to fifteen different sites you just go to one and all of the sites you chose come to you. I get news, weather, and different B-) new movies. I chose what I want to see and it comes to me.It is really nice.

Shakespeare. I really don't like it. We are watching the The Tragedy of Caesar. I don't see where i am ever going to use "et tu Brute" in my near future. Caesar isn't even in most of the play, he dies in act three. This play/movie is full of hot-headed, power-driven men.

my day

Right now I'm in school with nothing to do so I'm blogging about it!!!!!!!! It is snow but not sticking either. I'm stuck in school with nothing to do when it is snowing out side. B-)
